Bad Farmers Wife

I seem to have slipped off the bandwagon! I haven't done very well at keeping up with my farmers wife blocks. I have good intentions but no time! I was planning to do the batwing block but as im doing the math instead of using templates I couldn't work out the sizing. Instead iv'e joined the yahoo group and plan to print out the paper piecing and do the block that way instead. I shall put that on my to do list for tomorrow! so until I do get round to it, this is what I have done so far

Not much huh? I really wanted to do 2 blocks a week and now we are in week 10, I should have 20!!!

I totally agree with Sharon!! I love your blocks so far!! I'm stressed too cause I'm behind with the SBS QAL I've joined!! But I try to see it in a positive way, you know, that I'm learning new techniques and that this is not a competition!!! I love the second one from the left in the second row!! Amazing block:)
Enjoy the rest of your week:)

I like what you've got so far.
Don't stress on the pace, this is supposed to be fun remember. I'm hoping to start this weekend, and since I'm only planning on doing one block a week, you're seven weeks ahead of me :)

No pressure! Your blocks are beautiful! Work on them when it makes you happy and ignore them when you're focused on another project. It's OK. You could stop now and make a few fab table runners and placemats if you'd like. Remember this should be fun...

Looks like you're off to a great start! The blocks look great! I use paper piece for the really hard ones and do th1e math on the simple ones. What ever is easiest! Sometimes they come out too small and I have to do them over....but I'm getting better. Thanks for sharing, Melinda in Arkansas

You are doing great! I agree with Cindy. Work on the blocks when it makes you happy. A project this size can feel overwhelming - just take it slow and enjoy the process.
